i agree about the website thing, unfortunately, i think we are several steps behind the rest of the pack -- at least as far as several things are concerned.. more than just the website -- i am referring to everything from content to production to purpose to structure to everything! dla is dead! apathy blast (just ax chrips!)!!

personally, i feel a much more thorough reinvention is called for (or is calling for).. i think a new vision and a fresh start is the best way to go if we are going to get serious. get serious. from a to z, as it were.. otherwise, yes, we should do what we can to spice things up with the webshit.

as far as getting other artists inspired, i recall several occasions during which i pushed for 'global' expansion and reaching out to other artists like us around the world via the internet -- but the idea sank like a stone for whatever reason..

either way, i am dying to work on something art, business, or whatever. soon.

perhaps a fresh start..?

how do you think they got that many artists inspired? maybe we are doing something wrong. i wonder if any of those artists actually know each other in person? i assume at least a couple of them would, how else would you get something going in the first place?

we do need to do something to the website. maybe we can discuss in some pre-biz or emails. i need to revisit our site and take a fresh look (i have not been to it and really looked thru for quite a while, as it has been relatively dead.)

i think the best part of the site is the layout/design and the subtle graphical elemnts they embellished it with. the flow is top-notch throughout (sweet). as far as the artwork, i enjoyed (and downloaded) several turdz. some great abstract freehand vector work; some good designs. i think the medium really opens up the game -- the color really fleshes out their operation. i didn't really get off on the skins, and their music leaves something to be desired.. otherwise, and i assume you care because you sent the link, pretty inspiring digital graph/design website that unifies/presents a wide range of artistic styles/etc.. (we need a better site!) imagine what DLa could be with an army of thirty digital artists!
