thanks for all the links — they are more than i need, but i am bookmarking them for future reference..

some of the art is pretty keen, but some of the other stuff does not even interest me. how well do you know the program, anyway? i know that you (and ken) have been working on it for years now, so i assume that you have some skills in the craft.. is studio smaxx your vehicle of choice, or what? once i can squeeze a few decent renderings out of truspace i will float them down to you for compare and contrast, analysis, etc.. the dude with the link below is right, though: it does take a lot of practice!

fun for side werkinz tho..

so, sup chew?

i like smax cause it is pretty versatile, easy to learn the basics and capable of more advanced stuff. it is also easy to find latest versions, turtorials, pluginz, etc..

the last couple days were pretty hectic, working and lisa was back for an interview at Chemicon (with her folks’ dogs, which was very chaotic) - now she is down in Portland getting ready for an interview there tomorrow. she said after looking into the taxes situation, she thinks that you need a buck more per hour to equal a WA job wage. i am not sure what they are offering her for the job she is looking at now.

scot said he is digging into storage friday or saturday (prob.saturday). if he plans a meeting i will let you know.

if you want to grab a cup anytime in the evening, shout it out

thane,

well, i finally (seven months later) finished archiving my video (and pretty much everything else, too). i still have some minor batching/renaming to take care of, but all in all, i am done with a most huge task.

and so, while continuing the organizational/consolidation front (in other realms), i am obstaining from serious art until february (or so), and in the meantime gathering ideas, pondering plans, and building momentum.

it is good for me to clear my plate. it has been several hectic years since i have been able to re-focus, re-think, and remember. i am thinking about starting a journal slash sketchbook — all fresh, all sweet.

other than that, it is good to be clean again. i am hard at work re-establishing neuronal netwerkx, strengthening dormant synapses, and putting my head back together again. it’s all such a trip.

now bidness_: finish ronika / explore true space / tyghten up business / develop planz
future bidness_: portfolio / watercolour / software / video / dead letter art / prepare 4 adventures

until then,
jeff
