where is this blasted thing headed?

this email is intended as continued thoughts on the restructuring of our business as we had previously discussed prior to planning business issue. we are keeping it going by the skin of its teeth throughout the year and a few more issues until our proposed move to the city of Gondor-Portland. yessss.. that is pretty much how we left it, yes? and during that time we can continue to enjoy the labors and rewards of our art business, and the pleasure of our associates’ intrepid creativity. i am all for this, and regardless of the apathy that surrounds us, i still enjoy doing dla projects.

what if dla were more completely changed by restructuring? instead of the inevitable concessions that come from collaboration en masse and feeble input from a group of otherwise creative people, and struggling to keep them all interested and on task - what if we redefined the group paradigm of DLa projects?

suppose we were to work in smaller groups, or simply with only one other person? the projects could be more personal and more distinctively defined, without having to appease the other members. for example, the video project you and chris are working on with the bird house. (granted, i also have the video and sound footage and may in fact edit my own version of your story as well - but for this scenario, we would consider this a separate collaboration between you and myself.)

this way, we could be more productive (for instance, you and i could have several projects going at any one time - the work load is entirely up to you) and also weed out un-interested persons (the chaff). for instance - if someone is too busy, nobody would collaborate with that person. conversely, if they did collaborate, they could then share it with everybody at their own speed.

that would only leave to figure out the method of unifying and distributing works. which could be as diverse as the individual projects, and/or be packaged as a whole through F-disk Media, depending on the intent of the creatorz.

?

just ideas to further our discussion.
under this proposed paradigm, it might be more likely to get increases in outside participation.
