DLa #019 After distributing and enjoying DLa #18, the hot ML summer months were upon us. As ideas brewed for the next issue of Dead Letter Art, the DLa collective looked ahead toward the imminent return of the Grant County Fair [GCF]. Due to arrive in mid-August, the GCF has always been a bizarre parade of empty financial games and general rural insanity — a perfect theme for our next issue. After collaborating for the issue's minimalist cover, the collective began fleshing out content — artwork, comics, and writings — all delivered via standard DLa features: the Werdz page, the Tarot card, artopsy, art{space}, and Small Talk. In fact, this issue of DLa includes every feature that has ever been conceptualized and presented within the pages of DLa. As it began to unfold, we found ourselves preparing one of the phattest, most "standard" issues of DLa ever imagined. In fact, weighing in at a whopping 40 pages, DLa #19 was an enormous issue. But everybody just needs to chill, see? Because Nimbus is at the helm, directing business and pimping layout. Nimbus pulled it all together and even kicked down a few custom embellishments to make it all sweet. Throw in a custom, block-printed cover and you're right there at the Grant County Fair.
