News from Wednesday, September 14, 2005 @ 3:09 PM hey thane,
got your package yesterday, and was totally blown away by it. i had been in a slump for a few days prior to receiving it, and it really helped to snap me back into reality. everything was remarkably exquisite, and reminded me that there is more to it than electronic digital world. very inspiring and just what i needed. thanks.
the cheech & chong mix looks double tuf – nice flavor – con carne. i am still flying from just opening the two boxes – left me breathless. it is so meticulous and full of intrigue – i can milk these jewels for weeks!
plus, the brown sketchpad is mos …

News from Wednesday, August 17, 2005 @ 7:19 PM hey, thanks for making my spine1 stuff available. sweet-ass! it’s very cool to be able to share some of my projects like this. thinking constructively, when you get the opportunity, could it be possilbe to make a few changes? i.e., i’d like to have just one folder called “fcu-spine1″ and then, inside that folder, 2 seperate folders…1)”fcu” for my aut, and 2) “spine1″ for my audioz. then i could have access to the “fcu-spine1″ folder to add chunks when available. anyway, there is definately no rush or anything…priorities are understood.
damn. i’ve been busy as hell here. we’ve been doing an …

News from Monday, July 25, 2005 @ 11:37 PM Sup,
just wanted to let you know that i figured out the dvd-burning biz — the problem was that it was waaayy easier than i had assumed.
it is almost effortless, just clicking a few buttons. weird stuff. high tech.
so now i am 90% setup for business on secure core levels: netwerked, wi-fi, ftp, internet, etc., and i am just tonight getting down to deeper stuff like software installation and xp tweaks.
then, hopefully tomorrow i will fine-tune software, test features and compatibility, and transfer bulk-archives and configuration settings. the details. snake fighting. it’s amazing how extensive and complex everything has become with computers.
and now i am ready to …

News from Tuesday, October 12, 2004 @ 5:54 PM i should be set up and fully operational well before halloween, like probably the week of the 18th, which would still provide plenty of time to slap some scary pages together off the glass at staples..
i was just wondering where you were at with things.. i have not heard a peep from thane, and assume he is not into it. believe it or not, someone named sergio found our website and dug around enough to read about the halloween issue. he sent an email telling us he ‘loves’ our art and wants us to send him a copy of the hdla.
what is kingpin up to these days? have you …

News from Thursday, October 07, 2004 @ 3:52 PM Hi, I am a student of Moses Lake High School, that found your presentation last year extremely intresting, and I love deadletterart.com, it’s very fascinating. I would like to recieve your halloween issue if it’s not to much trouble, contact me at rockfan60@hotmail.com if there is any charging fees. I’ve been producing some art myself of the “alternative” type and Maybe I’ll sumbit some, if I ever get a scanner. Well anyways thank you,!!

News from Saturday, September 18, 2004 @ 11:00 PM k.
plans have begun for the next issue — halloween (pt.2)..
we have a few sweet chunks so far, plus some general ideas for look and feel — thane with a cover + art, me with some layout ideas + art, scott w/ some art/comix, and chris just threw down some very scary artwork… you in? you down for some spooky halloween action? it would be ultra ultra ultra inspiring and sweet and cool if you were to reunite with your fellow dla comrades..
– hey c’monza!! you only live once! right?
right?
