News from Tuesday, March 13, 2007 @ 6:03 PM DLa Newzletta #1 The first edition of the Dead Letter Art Newsletter officially is released on March 5th, 2007. Began in mid-January and completed in late February, the DLa Newzletta is a laid-back matchbook-style leaflet designed to bring the collective up to speed on recent happenings throughout the DLa-member universe. The DLa-NL is extremely low-key, presenting a laid-back approach meant to highlight news items while bringing focus to ideaz, planz, and projectz. Basically, a "What’s up" for DLa hedz & peepz. Current plans involve continuing the newsletter with a second edition later this year. Distribution is primarily members & subscribers only, so …

News from Tuesday, March 13, 2007 @ 4:53 PM Slowly but surely, and with great determination and persistence, ThaneC and Perishable have been mindfully fleshing out the DLa News Archive. We thought we were pretty special hitting the "100" mark several weeks ago, but today, we get even heavier — announcing 200 items (and counting) currently archived in the DLa Library! And that doesn’t even include the countless member and visitor comments seeping in from the edges..
The News Archive is slowly evolving into a virtual history of DLa happenings, information, and drama. The process of transferring our DLa email archives into living, breathing online documents helps us to consolidate and eliminate …

DLa officially has risen from the grave.
Everything has once again fallen into place,
providing everyone involved an opportunity to make the most of it..
What has changed..

More focus on idea development, creative collaborations, and such.
"Open architecture.."
DLa as vehicle for idea development and project collaborationz.
Artistic thought network for creative exploration and communication.
Our very own hive-mind of inspirational energy and expressionismz.
"Shared resources.."
Collectively, we possess many skills and have access to many resources.
Sharing in everything until our project goals are realized remains essential.
What’s next..?
We have a planned multiple-project release date …

News from Sunday, July 09, 2006 @ 12:05 AM Well, after five weeks of hard work, the new DLa site is nearly complete. The issue archives now include every issue of DLa from #07 to #22. Within the next couple of weeks, additional issues — including the F-Disk series — will be added to the Archives. Eventually, we will also add the DLa Special Projects to the Archives, but not yet. The next thing that needs finishing is the DLa Gallery section, which will showcase a few select art and photo sets, along with some other miscellaneous content. After the Gallery is complete, the News section will need fleshed out with a few interesting posts. Like this one. Finally, before …
