The movie is perfect. Exactly what we need to plug the soon-to-be-released full-length feature movie (plus bonus material).
I like the soundtrack, images, look and feel, and even the file size iz zo zweet. tweet.
so, here is the deal:
:the first flick you sent has a complete soundtrack that does cut off (sort of) at the end.
:the second clip fades out (which is better), but i was only able to here sound from one speaker. i.e., the second trailer you sent is not in stereo, but fades out sweeter than the first. the file sizes on either will werk fine, though. also, did you play the soundtrack on yo guitar?
Tuff.

hmmm…i only have one speaker (and no head phones) so i couldn’t tell if it was in stereo or not. get this: the first one (smaller) was saved as an email file — the second one was saved as a web file. the settings we’re left at default. as a quicktime movie i can also save it as a “web streaming” file. not sure what the difference is. also, if you think one of these file types below would work better (for our world-wide-web viewers) let me know and i can re-export:
what do you think? do you think most people have quicktime on their computer or what? is that kind of a default program or would something else work better? and yes, i ran my guitar through my fx system and then into my computer. recorded quite a few different versions but this one turned out the best. it has kind of that b-movie soundtrack feel — low budget but still kind of eerie. originally i was going to use some grungy white stripes music over the movie but i got to thinking about us putting it on the web and using someone else’s music w/o permission and that led me to plugging in the guitar. i know it’s probably no big deal but you never know. i think the finished product came out much better because i had total control and it’s totally original.

Well, “.avi” and “.mov” are cross-platform compatible (mac to pc and vice versa).
The most popular formats are probably:
and, here is a brief descrip and pros/cons of each of your choices:
MPEGS better for video only tracks (no audio), QuickTime probably best for our purposes (but not as “web streaming”). Now, as far as the mono vs stereo thing goes, try tapping in to your default settings, see what quality levels are specified, and try tweaking them to stereo. otherwise, save the second version of the clip in the same format that you saved the first one in and send it on over…
