News from Monday, September 01, 2003 @ 1:18 PMan all white page.
the copy "Dead Letter Art" is seen written out in the center of the page in an old style hand written script font as though by a ghost or whatever (possible drip(s) run down the page a little) (maybe an underscore w/ drips). the writing process takes about 8-10 seconds or about the time it would take a person to write out "Dead Letter Art". and the copy is written with black ink.
when your mouse runs over the now finished written copy it changes/fades from black to red (possible cracks appear around the written letters as it turns red as though the page has aged/yellowed. maybe the whole page turns an aged yellow color.)
or possibly reverse the colors of copy from written out in red ink and then fading to black.

i like this idea — or did at one time — it sounds almost identical to the very first dla website… way back in the day — i think ken did most of the werk… i would guess that you were actually joking with the idea, but i do not think you have seen the original old dla site.. either way, it is still an option/idea that we could use… i am now sitting down to werk on the flash side of the site. i couldn’t find flash online, but i did send ken an email, and you could always gif him a call if u wanted to…
