i guess the way i would set it up, if it were to be done as a work of "art", would be to have the description of the artist and his work on the first page by itself.. turn the page.. our interpretation based on page one.. turn the page – page three: artist picture (raw meat) and the actual work (cow farm) [like the images attached]. are u planning nething like this for the next issue? i think it would be sweet to see a gallery of such DLa interpretationz, especially if most everyone got involved with it (i.e., draw/paint something).. i like your color interpretation tho. nice crayolas! even tho the other guy was the master of color or whatever it said, i felt more color happening with the other guy’s art description.. the b/w was more reactionary and less responsive or impressionistic..

this was just a taste, more or less of what i had in mind for some future adventure. i was not really considering it as a dla endeavour – but i do want to have everybody who wants to do a few of them. my idea was just to rebind our own drawings in with the original text, and make like an "art" book (possibly with a description of the experiment as a forward..) to be passed amongst us for our own pleasure. or in the event we ever do get our own artistic enterprise licensed, i imagine such a book gracing the tables in our waiting room….
