1. artboard agenda/meeting schedule

i would propose a regular saturday evening schedule around 6pm or 7pm. that seems to be a doable time for everybody. sounds good. every saturday at 6 it is (for now). i went ahead and updated the ArtBoard link so now its just too sweet all the time. oh yeh. the admin pwd works – i deleted your msg to [name removed] and my website diagrams to make room for any new pictures that go up until i can get that softwarez installed to record screenz. great. problem solved.

also: did you clear the old images that are missing on the artboard? no. the artboard archive only lets you store x amount of images, as you add new ones, the oldest ones are bumped off. so we should save them as they are loaded just for the records. i was going to start archiving them (at least some of the interesting ones.) great! the admin passwerd is "[removed]". i checked.

i also downloaded a demo software that lets you record video from your computer screen — i am going to use it to record the "animations" i put up. if you want me to record some of the other images as they load and animate let me know. collect them all!! okay. great. problem solved.

2. future meeting dates/times etc.

20th of July. Saturday. Noon. — Northgate Mall/food court. this is good for now — it may change before friday — i vill let U know asap… but until further notice, noon at the foodcourt it is… she has the car all day.. so i will be busing it – northgate is ez to get to on the bus too. if you have another venue in mind that is not there, the U-District, or downtown i need to know soooon so i can figure out how long i need to get there. The location is fine, but the time may have to change. I will let you know by friday evening. (if it does change, it wont be by too much). i picked it because i can get there by bus easily and it is close to [Osseus]’s. when you get there, we can move to another more appropriate location (conducive to business.) other future meetings are too far in the future for me to speculate on. i figured. but it is crucial that we plan AT LEAST next months meeting. so throw down some possibilities. and keep in mind that it will be your turn (you and [Osseus]) to commute over the hillz. what happened to halfway? Indeed. Halfway. If you prefer, I can meet you and [Osseus] in Ellensburg this Saturday instead of in Seattle. It would be easier for me. Let me know. if you can – check into the printing scene in moses hole and see if it is any cheaper. (get info from a&h printers and any others – i am thinking comics issue, here) yes sir!

3. layout for fdisk 4 / issues etc…

i write the words that make the whole world squeal. i write the words. this will be a fairly slim issue i think. i will have a 3-4 pages, plus words page. [Osseus]? who knows. [Sui Lan]? she finished the cover and will do at least one more page. what did you expect? i expected what she told me: the cover and 2 additionar drawings… once again – it is our chance to dominate the scene. 2 sweet. also, [FCU] will have at least 3 turds, [Nimbus] may throw down, and [BHBW] may (read: probably will not) contribute 2 chunks. i will be posting my data from the zine con probably thursday – give it a quick flip through (i will let you know) – and maybe i will edit it to a 2page article in the zine…? sounds good. where will u post it?

4. website biz etc..

i did the menu bar based on what is there right now. i want to update the individual pages and consolidate it more still. i am urging [Osseus] to have the flash site done by august. it may be easier to discuss the website in person while we flip through it. i agree. the website would be easier in person. but i did make a few changes. like i said, the artboard is switched out (so check it for functionality), the emails have all been fixed/updated (some were broke, some were out of date), and I changed [BHBW]’s kontakt info to specification. but all that and the new biz/planz/changez will need to be a topic conquered at the meeting. i didnt see anything different about [BHBW]’s kontaktz – ?? still sayz m.i.a. is his [BHBW]@hotmail.com account still active? no. his email is shut down, but I changed his moniker.

5. your ideaz/planz..

more later.. let me think a bit on that. additional stuff from me: explain the submissionz folder/passwerd setup you were axing Special about..will it be an isolated folder — keeping our site safe (relatively) from hackers (or idiots)? how should it werk? what about this business? also, what probs did you encounter printing the piop/sketch issue? what happened and what did you do? i will spill it out in a text file for the PDF archives. i think we can only expect more problems from kinko’s as time goes on — e’en on issues where they printed correctly at the time. kinkos keeps changing and "updating" their software at the stores and more often than not it hoses all kinds of sh*t up. we will just have to deal with it on the fly, but keeping a record of how/what happens will only make it easier for us. trouble shooting? again, great idea… i will bring the missing issues, mailing supplies, and check printing prices. i will copy (from you) website backup. stop – it burnz. check.

after the layout, i will upload any zany fontz into fontz folder. by the end of the week i hope to have the other fontz there as well. check. i will try to make a #12 pdf–is there a halloween pdf? there is a halloween PDF listed isnt there? i will check to see whats on it. we should have a printable archive of it too, or maybe if you bring the originals we can print up a few for archive (since it is the only off-the-glass). halloween PDF is up and werking. i will bring the digital archivez. and I love the idea of putting printing notes in the PDF folder — definitely push that one thru!!

finally, keep this email/preBIZ correspondence going, but use yet a THIRD color of type so we can keep track of progression/etc.. oh yeah–check out [FCU]’s new artboard chunk if you havent yet already! saw it. rising son. inspire-E. –BL Tease Me

how many pages are you planning on putting in yourself for FDISK4? right now i have 1pg of art done, 1.5pg to skan, 1/2pg in progress, and 2 potentials. I would like to do some new stough too, but yikes- i am running out of time. but anywayz that is 4 pages for me (plus words).it will be a thin issue i am expecting anyhow. Actually, aside from the tarot, which I am werking on 2-nite, I may not have much to offer in terms of new content (it’s been kind of busy around here). But, I may throw down some as-of-yet unseen thrillz — so perhaps four pages plus the tarot? yes. thin issue indeed. [BHBW] wont contact me for some reason…

i threw this here for reference: ([email removed]) also i have a new zine email address: [email removed] – i sent an email (of sorts). i will probably post it up soon on my kontakt page, i want to see how it works first. (so email me). check.

also it allows a calendar page and some other crap too (we could open a general dla@zine.zzn.com and use it for planning that way..? just an idea – i can take a screen shot of the calendar or show you in person online.) just show me hotstuph! whip it out and just show me! screen shot? mmmmm. just kidding. i dont know if we need yet another DLA email account though — but if you say go…GO!

also, check the DLa hotmail account. there is a pretty interesting monthly e-letter (or somethink) from "kelvin" zine. checking it out only depressed me though (for some reason). inspire-E!!!
