(oh yeh- ken called and left a msg on my machine last night sometime saying he was back in town.. i havent called him back yet, i figured i
would wait until we were ready to look at a proof – so we wouldnt have to deal with changing the content now..)

no final word from either of you guys for the day? i won’t be checking email again until the morning, and it is essentially – too too late,
to add/subtract anything from the zine. i am going to print a proof tomorrow – jeff will be mtg me at the kinko’s, and ken you are welcome to
show up too (i wont bother calling, cuz you said you would be back on tuesday.)

so d o g – here is the text yur after. i mod’d a couple of your lines but all in all sweet’nuf, take another read thru and see what choo
think… we need something more expansive for the final panel. one possibility is to move the S22 text to S23.
i just need more text than that to block out the missing panel (unless yo guts other idees.)
but i am gonna take a lil’ break for now and get back at you after i eat.

for the subscription card (or whatever it is), please bring about 10 sheets of that sweet-ass heavy card stock used last cover. will discuss
possible restructuring on monday. please send me your final version of the comic story for one last proofread/touch-ups. i will go over the
words shortly. i am almost done with the polaris chops (will send soon). for the weech stuff, go ahead and try to use all three, as
discussed. there are plenty of other turds to use (if i package the interview differently). planz for tomorrow? when and where?

no word from ken-
so to answer your question: i will fill his chunk on page one with the girl in the tank from the background of panel one. that part of panel one will become obscured by the title to reduce the redundancy in art. havent had a chance to think of anything for the last panel he was to do. but it will be some similar coverup – perhaps one of the smaller panels will become a text block and my pick will be in the other small panel and yours in the large one at the bottom. the weech stuff should be plenty good. if the gems are rare then maybe we should save them all for the interview..? i will try to fit in one or two i guess for a lead-in to the interview. i got off to a slow start today but – yes i will send you the text for the comic one more time.. as i said: i want to put into the context with the pictures to see how well it flows and see if that generates any other ideas of what to do. look for it later – around 4ish i think. and finally, yeh we can hang out on monday for a spell. i have to get the paper from my pad, so i am driving lisa’s rig up there after i drop her off for work and then leaving the car downtown for her to use later. (free parking on holidayz).
