DECEMBER:
theme is ‘dream’ – use your imagination..
deadline is Nov20.
as always:: theme is meant to inspire, not required.

JANUARY:
theme is ‘sketches’ /as many as you want, please think about things
you may want to say about your sketches/art process..
deadline is undetermined.

CALENDAR: we would like to include a zine-sized calendar with the
january issue — the images may be in color, but the printed version
will be b/w. to do this we would need TWO IMAGES from each of YOU!
this is going to be a beni’ for the subscribers and something each
of us can use and enjoy too..

FEBRUARY:
theme – cancelled due to lack of interest? not. i have not gotten any
serious submissions for theme ideas. ..huh? remember..? i asked if
any of you would want to submit a theme, and do a cover for it?????
if there is no motivation for that, i will pick a theme — and it
will be related to KINAESTHETICS.
stretch your pencils. and minds.
here it comes..

COMICS:// during all of this we wanted to print all of the last years
comic content in one big fat reprint. this will be a quality turd.
all of you with comic content are encouraged to put something in.
it may end up including some gallery type art — so if you dont have
any comics, you may want to include a couple of the sweetest, freshest
chunks from the last year!!
deadline is mid-JANUARY!

VALENTINE's SPECIAL: yasuko wants to compile another special lover’s
edition of the zine.. this is a bonus issue IN ADDITION to the regular
february issue. the theme is to put in something that you did up
special for a special person (loved one).
NOTE: if you wanted to put some sappy, lovey crap into the february
DLA – forget it! it will go in the special lover’s package!!!

OH YEH- we are trying to revamp the site.. kudos to nimbus on a bitchin
new gallery. perishable is continually working on his as well, and i have new
content i am trying to get up.
dont let your gallery sit too long! why would anyone come back a third
time to see the same thing? i dont know.. thats why you should think
fresh!

it for you – email us.

AND FINALLY -- (pretty long email huh?)
sorry about any delays in NOVEMBER issues release.
we ran into some snags and it didnt get printed until today.
but from here on out.. especially with knowing the themes for a
few months out, we should stay well on target.

keep the art alive – it is such a sweet deal to see all of our
art, and it keeps me pumped!!
it isnt exactly like sitting in perkin’s together drawing all night,
but to me, this is the next best thing!!
