first — moses lake issue is coming up! all regular contributors should count on 2 (two)! pages of content. This reduction is to make room for the added artwork/features of our Moses Hole compatriots: Thomas Neuman, Zane Wilson, John Hernandez, Eric Grof, Ben Getz, etc….
As always – you are not required to contribute, but we like to see your stuff!! For this issue it would be nice to see something Moses Lake oriented, so if you have not been inspired by anything else recently (or lately) – take a moment to reflect on the desert oasis…
second — the website is currently being updated. if you are excited about this – great! i am currently the record holder for amount of content.. i am also the only one who has taken the time to upload images (get it?)….
So! what we need – if you want a gallery page: tell us what kind of format you want. tell us which images you want to put up. tell us what written content you would like. my gallery page (being the only one in existence) will be the default. if you are so inclined — send us your own .html / images / and so forth. I would like to focus on putting color stuff up first – but any image you want is fine.
third — a theme oriented format is taking shape. what this means is – contribute as you normally would! if you are looking for inspiration or selecting from old images to use, the them may be of help to you (and to us all in providing a point of unification for the materials.) the theme for september is: anthropomorphism.
last words
normally we all put $20 a month into the "kitty" (not a real cat, but a so-named collection of funds) – this is enough to cover the cost of printing and other miscellaneous crap (web, postage, supplies, etc..), and allows us to provide y’all (contributors) with a personal copy. for the upcoming moses lake issue, we would like to print more than the usual handful of prints. these will be distributed among various locations throughout moses lake. if you think of a place that would benefit from showcasing our zine, let us know! (ie – like the broadway tattoo place). what this means is, our cost is higher and also there are more contributors to shell out to. all regular contributors git the regular full-meal-deal PLUS one additional BW issue to give away. all other contributors will get one BW only.
If any contributor wants more than that – you can have as many as you want at COST. but you have to let me know by July 20th!!!!!!!! in general, BW cost is about 75 cents… color cost is a dollar more ($1.75). this is an average cost.
